Youth League Home Run Derby

YOUTH LEAGUE | HOMERUN DERBY WEEKEND | AUGUST 8TH, 2026

Saturday at the ballpark belongs to the next generation of sluggers.

Before the Gateway Grizzlies take the field, local youth baseball players will step into the spotlight for a competitive and high-energy Youth Home Run Derby. Teams and individual participants will compete for bragging rights in an exciting day of power hitting at the ballpark.

Event Format 

Ages: 7U-12U

Rounds 1 & 2
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Each participant is guaranteed two rounds.
The official schedule will be finalized once registration closes.

Championship Round
4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
The top 10 hitters in each age group will advance.

Awards

The top three finishers in each age group will receive a brand-new bat and will be recognized on the field during the Grizzlies game that evening.

Registration & Pricing

$15 Participant Fee
Includes two guaranteed derby rounds and a ticket to the Grizzlies game.

$10 Spectator Ticket
Includes entry to the Youth Home Run Derby and a Grizzlies game ticket.
Spectator tickets may also be purchased the day of the event as a General Admission ticket.
