Bio

Baker is a first time professional in 2013. He started his college career at the NCAA Division II’s perennial powerhouse University of Central Missouri. He finished at the NAIA’s Avila (Mo.) University. His junior year at Central Missouri he was 2-1 with a 4.58 ERA pitching mostly in relief. He struck out 32 and walked just six that season.

His senior season at Avila he was 7-4 with a 3.08 ERA in 79 innings pitched during 11 games. Baker is from Belton, Mo. and when he isn’t playing baseball he enjoys hunting and fishing.
