Bio
Guthrie, a first baseman/third baseman from Sunnyvale, CA, batted .256 with two home runs and 11 RBI in 30 games (82 at-bats) with the Grizzlies in 2012. The 6-1 195-pound 23-year-old recorded seven extra base hits.
“Alex was the youngest player on the team last year, but he still showed a lot of maturity and promise,” Warren remarked. “He’s a big kid with power and good defensive skills in the infield. He will be a key contributor in 2013.”
